Course description

Processing and analysis of biological materials

The course acquaints participants with methods used at processing of biological materials, primarily different extraction methods, for example, SPE and LLE. The required essentials of samples handling and applied analytical methods that require previous specific sample preparation are discussed. An employee handling biomaterials should be also necessarily informed of possible risks, protection from contamination and methods of biomaterial liquidation.

Completion of this course is recommended for specialists working in laboratories of different types: analytical chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, immunochemistry, molecular biological methods, haematology and transfusion medicine and toxicology.
